Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site earn a commission. This page says which, what they pay, and what they do not change about the recommendation.

Last updated September 12, 2026

In short: some links to hosting and hardware pay me a commission. Nothing you pay changes, no recommendation here was bought, and every page carrying such a link says so beside the link itself.

An affiliate link carries a code identifying this site. If you buy something after following one, the seller pays me a share of what you already paid. Your price is the same either way, and I don’t see your payment details.

The guides on this site recommend places to run OpenClaw. Some of those providers run affiliate programmes, so some of those links earn a commission.

Where they appear, and where they don’t

GuidesMay carry them, for hosting and hardware. The disclosure sits directly above the first one.
Service pagesNo affiliate links. What I charge is the only commercial interest on those pages.
The security pageNo affiliate links, deliberately. A paid hosting recommendation on a page about trust would undercut the page.
Client workIf I recommend a provider during paid work and it would earn me a commission, I say so before you buy.

This is how the disclosure looks in a guide, immediately above the first such link:

Some links below are affiliate links. They cost you nothing extra, and we would recommend the same option without them.

What a commission does not buy

No provider pays for a mention, a ranking, or a position on this site, and none reviews anything before it’s published. Where a recommendation exists, it says who it suits and on what grounds.

Nothing here is presented as a benchmark result or a comparison winner. Claiming that would need testing evidence I’d have to publish alongside it.

If you’d rather not use them

Search for the provider directly and ignore the link. The guide works the same way, and I’d give you the same recommendation either way.

Questions about this page

If a link’s status isn’t clear, ask and I’ll tell you plainly whether it earns a commission.
